At Parenting After Separation, we acknowledge and understand you are going through difficult and confronting times. There may be things you are unable to discuss with family or friends, or you may like to further explore the topics, strategies, and reflective exercises you have learned during our courses.
The counselling we offer is an hour-long, one-on-one session, conducted over Zoom. It is a confidential encounter between client and counsellor and can only be shared in exceptional circumstances.
The basic purpose of counselling is to provide you with a confidential, safe and supportive environment where you can tell your story, work through your emotions, and make positive changes to your life. My role as counsellor is to facilitate your self-development by providing an opportunity to gain a better understanding of yourself, where you want to be, and how to get there.
Counselling is non-judgemental and non-directive. It is not my place to give advice or opinion.
Counselling can provide you with the opportunity to reassess or set new goals in your life and help you to gain clarity and direction.
